FSC is dwindling by the day
-okay fine, so i'm exaggerating.
I went for daily mass with my family yesterday because well, i felt extremely bored at home the whole day having no one to visit. Then i happened to observe this family sitting about 2 pews infront of us. The mother picked up her little girl and carried her, but the girl cried and stretched out for the maid. Happened a few times.
I feel kind of sad for the mother, but thats what you get if you have to juggle between work and parenthood right? Well, can't exactly blame her since almost everyone is doing it this day. Actually, my parents did that too and i became very attached to my first maid. The good thing was that my parents were also on good terms with my maid, so all of us was like a giant family.
We ate together, watched television together and even went on holidays together. So my relationship with my parents didnt suffer although both of them were working parents. She stayed with us for about 10 years before going off to work in hongkong. i miss her loads and i heard she just got married. congrats merilyn (:
So after mass we went to The Vines to eat with my godmother, my cousin and my other aunt who happens to be my brother's godmother. After eating, we went to visit this great grandmother (paternal side). She's so cute! She took out this fake jackpot machine and started playing with it. Haha. The innocence of old age.
After that we went to visit my granduncle who lives 5 mins walk from the first house we visited. He is so bloody hilarious. The lame jokes he tell really cracked all of us up. He beat my brother at being lame. haha! Had a blast there. (:
