PROUD TO BE A CATHOLIC (:
I recently heard that well, someone i know is against catholism. and what makes it even more frightening is the fact that she is a christian, protestant to be exact. Christians are not just made up of the protestants, but the catholics as well. So i don't really get why some denominations are against catholics. We all believe in the same God and get this straight once and for all, catholics do not worship mother mary but merely honour her.
Is it only in singapore that protestants and catholics are so seperated? Because i heard that in other countries, they accept each other under the common title christians. Both protestants and catholics believe in Jesus christ. It is only that protestants do alot of bible study while catholics do not. Instead we take our lifetime as a time to know more about God and more of personal experiences with God.
ONCE AGAIN, WE STILL BELIEVE IN THE SAME GOD.
That isn't the only thing that makes me kind of pissed off. Just because she is a protestants and against us catholics, she has no right to force --- to not come to a catholic church when --- really wants to come. What right does she have to choose a religion for ---? The role as a relative perhaps? Stop thinking that way because the fact that you are linked by blood does not mean you have control over her beliefs.
If she wants to be a catholic, then so be it. Stopping her would perhaps stop her from ever learning about Christ. That isnt acceptable now is it?
On a lighter note, today's session was okay. Not many people came today but after the praise and worship, john was telling us about some fascinating stories including ghost stories. Not bad. We should all go to the youth rally together. that would be fun! ((:
