FSCis it the right choice for me, i wonderWent for the youth group meeting today. Well, i managed to get benedicta to come with me. Amanda couldn't come because of tuition and we informed denise a little too late. She had already left church by the time benedicta smsed her.
Father Gerard forgot my name! But he immediately remembered that he called my house and my dad picked up the phone while i was overseas when i told him my name. And he said he's going to come to my house! [ i had better take the computer and television out of my room]
Anyhow, he didn't stay for the meeting because he had to celebrate mass. Lynn and kathleen conducted the meeting today since they are the leaders and all. The topic was " Hell and Souls ". Quite an insightful topic and sharing we had today, though it was short. The picture of the lady's soul leaving her body when she just died was kind of freaky and scary to me. But i guess we have to learn to accept reality.
It proves that there is life after death. That we all have souls. [ The picture was real by the way. a photographer apparently in the operating theatre, or maybe outside of it, managed to capture that very moment the soul appeared ] Its kind of cool. The lady's soul had the same facial features and all as her body on earth. I had always imagined souls to be, well shapeless.
So that was about it. Today apparently more people came. Like me, benedicta, natalie, louisa, rachel, pattrick, jeremy c. and the rest that came were the usual few namely john, lynn, amanda phua, gareth, madeleine, kriffith and zoa. I think i will be going for next week's meeting too. Benedicta and i are dragging denise and amanda lau to come with us! (:
I think this post is long enough. will blog about my trip another day. I think i would include some pictures. Up to now, i havent uploaded any photos yet. I also havent started doing my homework! I am so dead. Whats more, i don't have my chinese homework and english homework. LOUISE! help! ):
