Think of how is that ever possible?
For a Father to choose this path for His son which would only end up in His dying?
I always wonder, how God felt when Jesus was being nailed to the cross. Did He feel hurt, as if the nails were going into His body too? But, He knew Jesus was going to be crucified! Why now, would He not also perceive how much pain He will feel at that point in time?
I'm truly amazed and touched at what God has done. To sacrifice His only son, for the sake of mankind. We are not worthy at all for all that He has done for us. He loved us that much! When i think about this phrase from the Bible, i realise actually how small those problems i have are. Its not as if I'm going to give up my life to do those things.
We have taken God's love and gifts to us for granted, not only that, but we complain about Him not helping us through difficult times in our life too. How unreasonable we all are! God has done so much for us, yet we are not satisfied. We are not satisfied by the fact God gave us His only son?! Gosh, sounds quite absurd. But yet, we are guilty of this.
So the next time we think of complaining about our life, the next time we feel that we are all alone, the next time we want to just end our life - PRAY and remember that GOD IS HERE ALWAYS
